Endless Grace

Romans 6:1-2, (KJV:) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

"We have all sinned, and fallen short of God's glory." And yet, sometimes, we would like to pretend as though we have not. The world today exceedingly resists the idea that we take responsibility for our actions. For some reason, something inside of us does not want to recognize our true condition-that being fallen. But until we see our true condition we cannot see our need. And until we realize our need, we cannot understand the far-reaching Grace of God. Paul asked, "Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" Of course not-"God forbid." Yet the more we realize that we are fallen, selfish people, the more we will see the Grace of God goes deeper than our deepest sinful deed, and covers us perfectly. Should we go on sinning without regard or regret? God forbid. But when we fall-and we will-let us always fall into the immeasurable grace of God and trust Him to help us to stand once again in Him.

Attitude of Gratitude

Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Thanksgiving is a lifestyle. Long before He answers, God requires an attitude of thanksgiving. Colossians. 4:2 NASB says Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. Our ultimate goal is to be engulfed by, saturated with, and completely controlled by an attitude of gratitude. Not some emotional high, or an escape from reality, but the actual living in a state of thankfulness before, during, and after we receive answers to our prayers.

Can God Bless America?

HOSEA 7:1 A, "I WANTED TO HEAL ISRAEL, BUT ITS SINS WERE FAR TOO GREAT".

GOD WANTS TO HEAL AND BLESS AMERICA TODAY, BUT THEIR SINS ARE FAR TOO GREAT.

IT IS SAD INDEED, BUT GOD HAS REMOVED HIS BLESSING FROM AMERICA. THE ONLY REASON GOD HAS NOT DESTROYED AMERICA IS BECAUSE HE HAS FOUND MORE THAN 10 RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE.

AMERICA, PLANT THE GOOD SEEDS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND YOU WILL HARVEST A CROP OF MY LOVE. PLOW UP THE HARD GROUND OF YOUR HEARTS, FOR NOW IS THE TIME TO SEEK THE LORD, THAT HE MAY COME AND SHOWER RIGHTEOUSNESS UPON YOU". (HOSEA 10:12)

WHEN OUR LEADERS PASS LAWS TO UPHOLD THE ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLE CALLED HOMOSEXUALITY, PASS LAWS TO CONDONE MURDER THROUGH ABORTIONS, PASS LAWS THAT WE CAN NOT TAKE OUR FAMILY TO CHURCH MORE THAN ONE TIME A WEEK, WE LEAVE NO ROOM FOR GOD TO BLESS.

WE MUST REMEMBER AS CHRISTIANS THE ONLY THING THAT WE CAN DO THAT WILL NEVER FAIL ACCORDING TO 1 CORINTHIANS 13 IS LOVE! SO LET'S GET TO PRAYING AND LET'S GUARD OUR HEARTS SO OUR LOVE DOESN'T GROW COLD! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Fruit

Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The moment you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior by faith, God sowed His Spirit and Word into your heart like a seed, and you were spiritually born again by the incorruptible seed of the Word of God. And just like apples always produce apples and oranges always produce oranges, God's seed inside you immediately began to produce God! So if God has sown His Spirit and His Word into your heart, you have every right to expect divine fruit to be produced inside of you! So don't give way to the flesh and allow it to produce its ugly work in your life. You are the one who makes the ultimate decision of who is going to rule you, so choose wisely today. Which path are you going to choose?

Don't Lose Hope

Jeremiah 29:10-11 (NKJV)

For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

We are, within periods of our lives, held captive. We may be imprisoned by choices we have made, habits we cannot kick, or external circumstances over which we have no control. Perhaps, the best news we could hear is that all will be well tomorrow. To Israel, The Lord spoke of seventy years to be completed before they would be freed. Those words could not have provided much comfort to Israeli exiles. For us, as well. During such times, remember it will be better tomorrow. Continue in the way of Christ. A day will come when the time of captivity is over. As for the meantime, take comfort. Don't give up. And keep your eyes on Christ. For most assuredly, the Lord has plans for you,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Walk In The Spirit

Galatians 5:16-18 (The Message)

My counsel is this: Live freely, animated and motivated by God's Spirit. Then you won't feed the compulsions of selfishness. For there is a root of sinful self-interest in us that is at odds with a free spirit, just as the free spirit is incompatible with selfishness. These two ways of life are antithetical, so that you cannot live at times one way and at times another way according to how you feel on any given day. Why don't you choose to be led by the Spirit and so escape the erratic compulsions of a law-dominated existence?

Do you walk in the Spirit every day? Would you like to walk in the Spirit every day? Is it possible to consistently walk in the Spirit? In Ephesians 2:3 Paul states that before we came to Jesus Christ,we walked in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh. You know the flesh has a mind of its own. And if allowed to do so, the flesh will become obsessed with fleshly temptation. But in Galatians 5:16 it provides the answer to the flesh. If you walk in the spirit, ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. It is time to move up into a higher realm. God wants you to leave the low life you've been living and to come up to the spiritual path He has destined for you to walk on in your life. So resolve in you heart today to make the path of the Holy Spirit the place where you live, work and function. Then you will experience love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

Life Patterns

2 Timothy 1:13-14 (NKJV)

Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

Why want things change for me? Who or what are you pattering your life after? Most of us live in grooves that are rapidly becoming ruts. How long since you made a really drastic change in your pattern of life? We are creatures Of habit. Once in a while we try to break out of the mold, but usually with out success. We are confined in the clutches of habit, worse yet, we are held in the grips of sin. We resolve to change, but then settle back again into our old comfortable ways. We blame God, our family, our government, our pastor. And the list goes on and on, and fail to see the only way that change can come is to change the pattern. Who are we pattering our self after? The world, or Gods word. There is a new day for you if you want it. As the sun rises and the day starts give the SON custody of your life and not visitation.

How to use the Name

John 14:12-14 (NKJV)

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

When you pray, say our Father. He declares that whatsoever we ask in that name the Father will give it to us. That is final. That is absolute.John 14:13-34 tells us how to use the name of Jesus in sickness or in adverse circumstances,or any other crisis. Most of the church today dose not use the name. Satan has kept their eyes blinded to its use. Here at Faith Temple we know the power in that Name and we use it, and we see miracles happening all the time. Hebrews 13:8 declares that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. There is just as much power in that name as there ever was.

Advocate

1 John 2:1 (Amplified Bible)

MY LITTLE children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God's law and sin. But if anyone should sin, we have an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father--[it is] Jesus Christ [the all] righteous [upright, just, Who conforms to the Father's will in every purpose, thought, and action].

Many Christians today, who are living in broken fellowship, would be living victorious lives in Christ if they knew that Jesus was their Advocate. The Word shows us that if we sin we have an advocate with the father. Consider the meaning of the word "advocate" In Webster's dictionary we read:" one who pleads the cause of another in a court of law; one who defends. Christ is our defender. He is always there, at the right hand of God, ready to come to our aid, to intercede on our behalf. The Word declares that when we confess our sins, He is righteous and faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, to wipe them out as through they had never been. No Christian should ever remain in broken fellowship any longer than it takes to ask forgiveness. What the father forgives He forgets. A child of his should never dishonor His Word by ever thanking of his sins again.

Warning Label

Hebrews 4:12 ( KJV )
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

If the Bible had a warning label, what would it say? Perhaps something like this: Warning: This Book contain active ingredients. Daily usage will result in long term, and life changing effects. Side effects may include, but are not limited to: personal joy, peace and contentment; compassion, grace, love, and understanding for others; greater love and respect for God, deeper faith, and victory over sin. Continued usage may result in a lasting transformation in personality, character, and likeness to Jesus Christ. If no significant changes are noticed, please consult the Holy Spirit immediately. Many of us read labels to know what is in our food, and medicine. It is important to follow medication dosage instructions. And we cannot expect the medication to work if we don't take it. God has provided us what we need to experience joy, peace, victory, etc. We simply must use it according to His instruction.

I am a soldier in God's Army

Ephesians 6:12 (The Message)

A Fight to the Finish
God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

I am a soldier in the army of my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith, prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will either retire in this army at the Rapture or die in this army; but I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my God needs me, I am there. If He needs
me in the Sunday school, to teach the children, work with the youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me because I am there! I am a soldier. I am not a baby. I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up. I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me. I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name, and building His kingdom! No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy or give me handouts. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead. I will win. My God has and will continue to supply all of my needs. I am more than a conqueror. I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ. Devils cannot defeat me. People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me. Money
cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me and hell cannot handle me. I am a soldier. Even death cannot destroy me. For when my commander calls me from this battlefield, He will promote me to Captain and then allow me to rule with Him. I am a soldier in the army, and I'm marching claiming victory. I will not give up. I will not turn around. I am a soldier, marching heaven bound. Here I stand! Will you stand with me?
Guess what? If you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior you're already enlisted! Question is, which part of the service are you in:
1. Active Duty: Serving the Lord faithfully, daily, and on duty 24-7?

2. Reserve status: Serving only when called upon or twice a year, Christmas and Easter?

3. Guard status: Backing up the Active Duty group? or

4. AWOL! Absent without the Lord?
THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Actions

Galatians 6:10 (Amplified Bible)
So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good morally to all people not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith, those who belong to God's family with you, the believers.

Each one of us have the potential to change a life, for the good or for the bad. Think about what act did you display yesterday, and what was the motivation, Jesus or satan. Now think about what can I do today to be God's conduit to change someone's life for the good. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Just As I Am

Exodus 3:14 (KJV)

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

I come just as I am. There is no other way to approach our Lord. He does not look upon outward appearances, but upon the motives of the heart. He knows my reasons for approaching Him. He knows why I make my requests to Him. He knows when I come seeking His Will, and when I come seeking my own. They that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. And there is no hiding the true intent of my heart. I come just as I am. I approach Him not because I am good enough, but because Christ has given me access to the Father by His life and sacrifice. What can I do? I can go just as I AM. With Christ, I can go into each day as I AM, for He would go into each day ready to serve, to seek and to save that which was lost; to look for opportunity to love and to heal. With Christ, I can love just as I AM-unconditionally-without regard for self-sacrificially and without hesitation. By seeking Him fully, honestly and humbly, I can go through each day, just as I AM.

The World's Grip

1 John 2:17 (Amplified Bible)
And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever.

The influence of this world is very powerful. It can hold us in its grip. It can enslave us and keep us captive to its will. It can convince us of its own importance, making itself out to be more real to us than God. Wisdom cries out to us, desiring to guide us to the Truth. The truth is that the things of God are real and lasting, and the things of this world are passing. And yet we are consumed by this world, the cares of this life, the pursuit of personal happiness, and more. Day after day we invest time and energy into making a life in this world. And the longer we continue doing so, the more we become like those in the world around us. We think as they do. We live as they do. We seek the same material things, the same successes, and the same pleasures. Our thinking, that is to be transformed to the likeness of Christ's, clings instead to the patterns of worldly thought. We believe in faith and miracles as long as they are subject to common sense and practicality. The influence of this world is very powerful. It can hold us in its grip. How much hold does it have on you?

Gossip

Proverbs 11:12-13 (Amplified Bible)
He who belittles and despises his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding keeps silent.
He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy and faithful in spirit keeps the matter hidden.

What is a gossiper? Gossipers speak of the faults and failings of others, or reveal potentially embarrassing or shameful details regarding the lives of others without their knowledge or approval. Even if they mean no harm, it is still gossip. Why do people in the church thank that they have to tell every thing they know or thank they know about a brother or sister? Did you know, Have you heard, You wont believe this. Is any of that edifying our brothers or sisters? 1 Thessalonians 5:11 amplified says. Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another. You have probably heard it said that the army of God is the only army that kill its wounded .The Lord gave me a song a few years ago here are a few of the lines.
You talk about your brother because you thank its smart. Maybe he has sin but Jesus knows his heart. Maybe if you would pray for him and take him by the hand. Instead of talking about him, he would be a better man. Pray instead of talking help your brother all you can. Remember Jesus told us judge not your fellow man.
Have a Blessed week.

God's Promises To Us:

Matthew 8:8,10:
Then the officer said, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed] {8 NLT).
When Jesus heard this. He was amazed. Turning to the crowd, He said, "I tell you the truth, I haven't seen faith like this in all the land of Israel! (10 HLT)

God is God and His promises never fail. If God's promise fails, it is because of what we do and not what God does. God promises us heaven. But if we don't serve Him, then it's hell. But even that is a promise. It is a promise to the sinners, the wicked.

So all through God's Word we see that with each promise. God begins that promise with the word, "IF". We should also know that that two letter word "IF" has two meanings. One is "Condition", the other is "Doubt".

God says if we do, He will do. That's a condition. But when we say to God, "IF", that"s a doubt.
A man came to Jesus and said, "if you can, I can be well". Jesus became upset and said, "what do you mean if I can? If you believe"!

God hates doubt. But He loves belief. Let us never doubt God's promises to us.

When Sin Abounds Grace Much More Abounds

Romans 5:20-21:KJV
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Regardless of where we live and what we are facing-regardless of how bad the situation around us looks to our natural eyes-the grace of God is flowing downstream, and God is lavishly pouring it forth in abundant measure! In fact, it is impossible for us to imagine, measure, or even dream of the amount of divine grace God is sending in our direction. No banks can hold the flood of grace He is sending our way! It isn't just a lot of grace; it is more, more, more, and much more grace! The flood of grace will always far surpass the flood of sin and darkness!

Cast Out Devils

Mark 16:17 (KJV)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils.

Yesterday we talked about signs, the first part of this verse, and remember the key word was believe. But to believe we must have faith, remember it is your faith that activates what ever you are believing. The Lord gave me a word a few years ago it was catalyst ( A substance that causes a chemical change when added to something but is not changed itself it is the activator.) Faith is the catalyst that activates. Now with that said lets look at casting out devils. So what do we do when we confront a demonic infestation in someone's life? We take authority over it in Jesus' name and cast it out! Confess that you have authority over all evil spirits. You have no reason to be afraid of them! Jesus gave you power and authority over all the works of the devil. The church has got to realize the authority that they have, we are never going to get anything done with the words I CAN'T in our vocabulary. Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Signs

Mark 16:17 (KJV)

And these signs shall follow them that believe

The key word here is believe. If you haven't been experiencing the supernatural in your life, it may be a signal that you haven't been releasing your faith to see signs and wonders follow you. Remember these signs always follow when believers are believing for them to occur. This was Jesus' promise! I want to encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to rekindle the flame in your heart to see the supernatural signature of God on your life. God wants to show up when you preach or share the Gospel. But for the miraculous to occur, He needs you to be constantly releasing your faith. For it is your faith that activates the supernatural! So when you preach or share the Word, expect things to happen!

Should We Run

1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world

Should we run from satan? If you say yes than he will keep chasing you for you are his prey. Gods word says to resist him. We are not commanded to run, but to resist, to fight rather then flee. Victory comes when we remain committed to God, because He is greater than our enemy. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. We can overcome by recognizing false teachers and refusing to follow them. He who is in you is the Holy Spirit. He who is in the world is the devil.
