Joshua 21:43-45 (KJV) And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
Anyone can make a promise. People make promises to each other every day. But sadly, people break their promises to each other and fail to live up to their word every day too. You've heard people make statements, even written songs and poetry about who can you trust anymore? Well, you can always trust God. The bible says God is not a man that He should lie. He always lives up to His word and His promises. If we do our part by abiding in Him and meditating His Word, He says we'll make our way prosperous and have good success. If we listen to His voice and do the things He tells us every day, we have no need or reason to fear. He is with us every day wherever we go, and He always keeps His word!
