John 21:17 (NKJV) He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah,do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep
You may be wondering what your purpose in life is, and what it is that God is wanting you to do. Before you focus too much on that, focus on the first commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. If you will focus on worshipping the Lord and loving Him with all your heart, everything else will fall into place. Every road has a beginning and every race has a starting point. You can't get to step two without carrying out step one. Focus on your relationship with the Lord, then you'll be like Peter, who after expressing his love for Jesus, found out what his purpose was.
