Answer, Challenge & Declare

Genesis 1:1-3 (NKJV) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

God said. Let there be light. answer, challenge and declare. A challenge is a contest or a competition. It is an objection as to the truth of something, often with an implicit demand for proof. When darkness was on the face of the earth, God didn't argue with it. He didn't talk about the darkness or the magnitude of it. Instead, He answered it, then objected to it with a challenge, then made a declaration against it. There is power in words. There is power in the confession of God's Word. Words are made to be spoken, thus the Word of God is meant to be spoken. His Word is truth and it will always prevail over that which is temporary and subject to change. When darkness surrounds your world, don't get caught up in magnifying the darkness (circumstance or problem) instead make a declaration of God's Word against it. Answer the situation with what God says. Challenge it with the truth of God's word.

Have A Blessed Day
