Acts 10:34-35 (KJV) Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
For the past 2000 years, God has been proclaiming to every man, woman and child in every nation, to every tribe and people that His grace and salvation is available to anyone who will receive it. All people now have the same access to His blessings. His promises are for all people. However, the blessings and the promises are only fulfilled in Christ. When you receive Jesus, you have access to everything God promised. Jesus really is the way, the truth and the life!

Your Destiny
Psalm 73:24 (KJV) Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
You have a destiny and a purpose which God created you for. His plan for you is good, to give you a future and a hope. Are you arriving at that destiny, and do you know what that destiny and purpose is? The counsel of God will lead you to it. When you seek His advice, counsel and guidance for every plan you make, every choice you make and every decision you decide, you are moving in the right direction. What if you miss it? What if you make a mistake or a wrong decision? His counsel and advice is sufficient to get you back on the path to a glorious finish! It does not matter if you've made poor choices up to this point, God is able to make beauty out of ashes. Even if you've had a weak start, He is able to cause you to be a strong finisher!

Is there really power in your words?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit" (Proverbs 18:21)
According to the Scriptures, the tongue has a power. We can see that the Word of God is saying that our speech is tremendously important, powerful and significant. So much so that our words are a matter of life and death. Perhaps this is why Jesus declared, "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment." (Matthew 12:36). "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." (Matthew 12:37). These declarations of Jesus Christ should cause us to sit up and take notice, and consider very carefully what kind of words are coming out of our mouths and why.
The word of God, spoken in faith in the Name of Jesus, has awesome power to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
Isaiah 55:10-11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
There is irresistible power in God's word; it will not return to Him empty.
God’s Word will accomplish His desires and purposes.
God’s Word has heaven-backed power!
When you speak the Word of God, you are tapping into limitless power!
Jeremiah 23:28-29 Let the one who has my word speak it faithfully 29“Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”
Think of God’s Word as a hammer. Picture it.
This hammer can drive home a nail = positive results.
This hammer can break down obstacles = overcoming negatives.
“SPEAK [God's Word] faithfully” and (1) all kinds of positive things will begin to happen, and (2) all kinds of obstacles and opposition will begin to be broken.
People are always telling me about awesome dreams they have and how they wish they would come true. Well you need to vocalize what you visualize, Remember there is power in the spoken word. vocalize what you visualize, I love it the Lord gave me that today.

The Foundation
Matthew 7:24-25 (KJV)
24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Building your life and basing your beliefs on the Word and promises of God is a solid foundation. It is solid as a rock. His grace empowers you to overcome any circumstance in your life. The storms of life will come and go, but Jesus said it is the ones who have heard His word and built their lives upon it that will stand and overcome. When you hear His word, act on it. Don't wait until the flood waters of life are knee deep before you start trying to build forms and pour concrete! Start building your foundation upon the rock today.
Matthew 7:26-27 (KJV)
26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Building your life and basing your beliefs on the standards of the world and its god will only lead to destruction. You can not call your self a Christian and willfully participate in the wrongs of this world and think God is going to bless you. So when all the problems are piling up on you STOP and look at the foundation you are building on. Maybe, just maybe you need to turn around. Remember John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Unlock The Mysteries
Matthew 13:11-16 (KJV) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
God does not withhold information from some and give it to others as a way of showing favoritism. He says it will be a secret to those who distance themselves, but will be revealed to those who draw near. God gives revelation to those who seek after and pursue a relationship with Him. There are many who know scripture, go to church and claim to be a follower of Christ. But a relationship is more than just memorizing scripture and attending religious services. If you want to find the answers you are looking for, if you want to get your prayers answered and find direction for your life, start spending time with the Father. Share your heart and your thoughts with Him. Spend time in prayer, and then spend more time being silent and listening for His voice. What has seemed as a mystery before, He has promised to make known to those who are in close fellowship with Him.

Experience
Luke 5:5 (King James Version) And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
Experience. It can be a great teacher. The standard and mentality of the world says that experience is the greatest teacher. Many employers will even hire someone with experience over someone with education. While experience can be a great thing, the wrong kind of experience can be a hindrance to your faith. In this instance with Peter, his experience was that they had toiled and fished all night and caught nothing. His experience was saying to him that they weren't going to catch any fish on this trip. But the Word said "Let down your nets for a catch." Had Peter simply ignored the Word and went with his experience, he would have missed out on his miracle! We say we walk by faith and not by sight. Our sight has to do with not only what we see, but also what we have seen or experienced in the past. There will be plenty of opportunities in life for you to act on your experience, or act on the Word. Your experience may tell you it's impossible. It may tell you something that is contrary to what God says in His Word. Don't let yours or anyone else's past experience dictate to you what can or can't be done. Go with God and what He says in His Word. Don't let experience cheat you out of your miracle!

WE WILL LIGHT UP THE NIGHT
Isaiah 60:1-3 (Amplified Bible) ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
God knows all about where we are and what is happening! I know its a dark world out there! But Jesus said we are the light of the world! I have run into many people who are very upset with the way things are going at church and in this nation. We need to ARISE and SHINE. Not stand around and WHINE! In Genesis, the Lord spoke, "Let there be light" and there was light. Psalm 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me, even the night shall be light around me.
EVEN THE NIGHT SHALL BE LIGHT AROUND ME!
WE WILL LIGHT UP THE NIGHT! God's very own "night-lights" that's what we are. Don't wait for the 'day', to let your light shine! It will shine best in the darkest places. Tell someone what Jesus has done for you. It will pave the way for His presence and its like rolling out the red carpet for The King to walk on.... Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O gates; and be lifted up, O everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Consider It Joy
James 1:2-4 (KJV) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
You may wonder how James could tell us to consider it joy to face suffering. It is because we can take confidence in knowing that with each cleansing time we face, we become a little stronger, a little more content and a little more ready to face what life may dish out. God wants to prepare us for whatever extremes we might face. When one day it seems that everything is going our way and the next we face our worse day ever, God does not want us to shatter--but to remain in tact. Consider this joy--God loves you and wants you to maintain peace of mind in the storm, and contentment of heart in the midst of crisis, knowing that He has your best interest at heart.

Enter His Rest
Hebrews 4:10 (KJV) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
You are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. You inherit the promises of God by faith. Resting in God also comes by faith, and it comes through your faith in Jesus Christ. Before you were saved, you may have thought that you had to work your way to heaven, or be "good enough" to earn God's favor. But now your faith in Jesus Christ has put you in right standing and right position with God. Not by your works, but by the redeeming work of Jesus on the cross. You no longer have to "work" to earn God's favor or salvation, but you are in personal fellowship with Him just as Adam was in the garden of Eden. You can walk and talk with God every day. When you don't have to work to earn your salvation, you can rest in the peace of God and focus on the purpose He has for you on this earth. God is finished with His work and He has a will in heaven He wants carried out on earth. Enter into His rest and fulfill your part in carrying out the will of God on the earth.

The Four Seasons
Genesis 8:22 (KJV) While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
There are huge campaigns about "global warming". There were theories at one time that the earth would keep getting warmer and warmer, closer to the sun until everything burned up. There were other theories that the earth was entering another ice age and we would all freeze over. Well, a "theory" is actually speculation based on ignorance of a particular subject. If the truth were known, then there would be no reason to theorize. Well, God's word is truth. The truth according to Genesis 8:21-22 is that God made a covenant with all of creation promising that there would always be seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night. So we can see that although the weather may be fickle and unpredictable, and it may appear in certain parts of the country that the four seasons have all melded together, God says that while the earth remains (in it's present state) we will continue to have the four seasons - seedtime (spring), summer, harvest (fall), and winter. Praise God that answers to bible questions are always found in the bible!

Among the Thorns
Matthew 13:22 (KJV) He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
We are among so many things that can choke the Word in us. The cares of life, making a living, pursuing worldly gain or ambitions, to name a few, all have the potential of choking God’s Word in us--making us unfruitful. Look into the eyes of Christians and what is it you see? Do you see the sparkle of light of a soul contented in Christ? Or do you see eyes like so many others that reflect the cares of this life? Shall we bear fruit? Or shall we be afflicted by the thorns? It may seem so very hard to be still before God when the world around you is spinning at such a high rate of speed. Yet the only way to take back the ground we’ve lost is to kneel on it, and get our eyes off life’s cares and onto Christ’s concerns; making His concerns ours, and giving us the opportunity to learn the joys of being the fruit bearers He created us to be.

Nitpicking
Matthew 23:24 (KJV) Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
Mark chapter 14 verses 3-9 tell the story of a woman who broke a jar of expensive perfume and poured it on Jesus’ head. The onlookers immediately found fault, saying that the perfume could have been sold and the money given to the poor. Jesus quickly corrected them, explaining to them the purpose of what the woman had done which they had completely missed. As Christians, our eyes should be always looking beyond reason, beyond first impressions, and beyond ourselves in order to allow Christ to reveal to us His purposes in all things. Yet, so often we see something in church or in another Christian’s life and become indignant. Our eyes become clouded by our judgments of how we believe things should be, and we completely miss what God may be doing right before our eyes.

No Sorrow
Proverbs 10:22 (KJV) The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
The bible says that God blessed Abraham and the whole world would be blessed through him and his seed. That seed is Christ and the blessing is in Christ. The blessing that is yours in Christ makes you rich in mercy, rich in grace, rich in houses, lands, cattle, finances and every good thing. There is also no sorrow with it. We add sorrow to it ourselves when we get into worry and anxiety over "things" that the blessing is supposed to produce. No one can take the blessing away from you. The blessing will always produce. You get into sorrow when you focus on the "things" which can be taken away or lost, instead of the blessing itself. The key is to focus on the blessing, which is Christ and in Christ, and not the things that the blessing produces. If you do that, you'll be blessed and there'll be no sorrow added to it.

Lukewarm
Revelation 3:15-16 (KJV) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Doing our best is all God asks of us. You and I do not have a right relationship with God because of the things we do. Our faith is the important key in our commitment to God. However, what we do says a lot about how much we care and how committed we are to serving God.
I realize that we are human. None of us are going to do everything perfectly like Jesus was able to do, but to follow God means that we are called to do our best. In Revelation 3:15-16, it says, "I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because your are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth."
As Christians, we need to be on fire for God. If we are just going through the motions, then we are not truly following Him. He doesn't want us to just play church on Sunday's. He wants us to be the church every minute of every day.
God doesn't want us to be lukewarm. God does want us to do our very best. Are We
Dear God, turn up the heat so that I may be on fire for you by doing my very best. In Jesus Name, Amen.

A Good Word
Proverbs 12:25 (KJV) Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
There are many people in this day and time who are weighed down by the cares of this life - what they will eat, what they will wear, what they will drink, where they will live, and so on. The constant focus and dwelling on these things will produce worry and fear in the heart of man. However, as a child of God you are to be light in a dark world, and "salt" in a place where there is no "flavor". Speaking words of encouragement and truth can change a person from the inside out. Speaking God's words, words from heaven, can produce righteousness, joy and peace. Words that say "everyone who believes and confesses Jesus is the Son of God overcomes the world"; "with God all things are possible"; "If God be for you, who can be against you"; and when you invest in God's kingdom "my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus". When you become a student of the Word of God and study yourself to be approved, you will learn the words of righteousness and the words that bring life, not death. And, when those words are spoken in faith, they are going to produce joy in the hearts of some people, who will in turn reap a harvest of good! The Word of God is the gift that keeps on giving!

A Simple Thing
2 Kings 3:18 (KJV) And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD.
You may be facing what seems like a monumental task, or an impossible situation. You've sought the Lord and prayed about it. You've picked up your bible and found scriptures and promises that apply to your situation. You don't see how God could ever work it out, but God is the one who has promised and He is faithful. He can make a way where there seems to be no way. What seems to be impossible is possible with God. All you need to do is listen for His voice and do what He says. God is the one who has spoken, it's His promise and it is a very simple thing for Him to bring it to pass.

Your Confidence
Hebrews 10:32-39 (The Message) Remember those early days after you first saw the light? Those were the hard times! Kicked around in public, targets of every kind of abuse—some days it was you, other days your friends. If some friends went to prison, you stuck by them. If some enemies broke in and seized your goods, you let them go with a smile, knowing they couldn't touch your real treasure. Nothing they did bothered you, nothing set you back. So don't throw it all away now. You were sure of yourselves then. It's still a sure thing! But you need to stick it out, staying with God's plan so you'll be there for the promised completion. It won't be long now, he's on the way; he'll show up most any minute. But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust; if he cuts and runs, I won't be very happy. But we're not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We'll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.
When you begin to study the Word of God and read the promises of God, it will produce knowledge in you concerning what God said. When you gain knowledge and know something, it will produce confidence. People make decisions and choices every day based on the confidence they put in what someone has said. In this case, the God of the universe has given us His word. He has spoken. He has said it. We can put confidence in what God has said because God is truth. Now, the devil comes in many forms to try and destroy your confidence. He comes at you with the newspaper headlines, untruths about your brother and sister in Christ, the negative report on the six o'clock news, the bad diagnosis at the hospital, and any other thing that can possibly produce fear into the hearts of man. It is designed to kill, steal and destroy your confidence in what God has said. If the devil can take your focus and attention off the Word of God and get you to start talking and repeating the negative things of the world, he can eventually overcome you. BUT, if you will hold fast your confession of God's word and keep your confidence built up in what God has already declared, then you can overcome the devil and the world. Don't throw away your confidence because it does have a great reward!

Taking God at His Word
Romans 4:3 (KJV) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Faith is a word that is difficult for many of us to define. In Romans, The last part of chapter 3 through the first part of chapter 5, Paul uses the word "faith" at least 20 times in effort to convey understanding of saving faith. Even after reading his discourse, many of us may still have difficulty defining faith in our own words. Hebrews 11:1 states that "faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen." But even this definition contains abstract imagery which spurs a variant of ideas from person to person. A simple way I have heard it stated is that "faith is simply putting your trust in God." Simply put, we take God at His word--that which he says He will do, He will do (Rom. 4:21; Num. 23:19; Jer. 1:12). The same faith that saves us today, saved Abraham many centuries before Jesus was born. "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness." We believe God regarding Christ, we take Him at His word that Christ is our salvation--our righteousness (Rom. 1:16). We believe God, and it is counted as righteousness.

He Will Help You Overcome
Psalm 28:7 (KJV) The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
When problems and adversities come, it's a natural instinct to react by either running away or facing them head-on in our own strength. Question is, do we really have a place we can run to or strength enough to overcome within ourselves? When you need strength or a place to run when daily trials come your way, simply look to the Lord for your help. How is this done? By going to Him in prayer and trusting Him to see you through. The word "strength" in this verse literally means to be "strengthened with power to prevail". The word "shield" in this verse literally means to "protect and defend". By trusting in the Lord, you are trusting Him to protect you and strengthen you with power to overcome. He promises to help you by being your defense and your source of strength, even when it seems there is no where to turn or no energy to carry on. Trust in the Lord - He will help you overcome!

Maturity
Hebrews 6:1 (Amplified Bible) THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity.
Maturity. That word in the Greek is teleiotes, which means completeness, with the idea of working or growing to a full age man. Pressing on to this maturity implies that there is going to have to be some serious effort on our part. God wants to take us from faith to faith, glory to glory. This only happens if we are willing to dig in and seek more from God, and if we are actively putting into practice what we know to do at this moment. For example, when I was two years old, the first time I said "da-da" was an exciting moment. People made a big deal about it. But, if I were to have kept calling my father "da-da" when I was ten or twelve years old I would have been severely reprimanded! Why? Because what is acceptable for a two year old is not acceptable for someone who is supposed to be more mature. There may have been a time when crying, rolling around on the floor and begging and pleading with God got His attention and caused Him to move and act on your behalf. However, at some point a person is going to have to rise up in the authority and power that Jesus died to give them and hold fast to their confession of faith! At that point, crying, begging, pleading, rolling around on the floor isn't going to cut it anymore. Let's not be as Moses was, who continually struck the rock when he was supposed to be speaking to it. Let's rise up to maturity and call the things that be not as thought they already were, and speak to the mountains in life and command that they be removed and cast into the sea!

Wonderfully Made
Psalm 139:14 (KJV) I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
How is your self image? Is it based on negative things people may have said about you, or negative thoughts you have about yourself, or is it based on what God has said about you? People may have told you all your life that you'll never amount to anything, or you are useless and worthless. You may have thoughts about yourself that are based on insecurities that tell you you'll never be good enough. You can rise above all those lies. Why? Because God is telling you right now that He does not make trash. God does not make junk. God does not make anything that has no worth, no purpose or no reason for existence. You are very valuable to God. He has made you for a purpose and created you perfectly to fulfill it. The next time the devil or anyone else tries to tell you that you are useless and worthless, then ask yourself why God paid such a high price for you. Jesus paid the ultimate price with his life. God knows your value. He wouldn't pay a million dollars for a fifty-cent item. God gave it all for you. Will you receive it today?
