Proverbs 12:25 (KJV) Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
There are many people in this day and time who are weighed down by the cares of this life - what they will eat, what they will wear, what they will drink, where they will live, and so on. The constant focus and dwelling on these things will produce worry and fear in the heart of man. However, as a child of God you are to be light in a dark world, and "salt" in a place where there is no "flavor". Speaking words of encouragement and truth can change a person from the inside out. Speaking God's words, words from heaven, can produce righteousness, joy and peace. Words that say "everyone who believes and confesses Jesus is the Son of God overcomes the world"; "with God all things are possible"; "If God be for you, who can be against you"; and when you invest in God's kingdom "my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus". When you become a student of the Word of God and study yourself to be approved, you will learn the words of righteousness and the words that bring life, not death. And, when those words are spoken in faith, they are going to produce joy in the hearts of some people, who will in turn reap a harvest of good! The Word of God is the gift that keeps on giving!
