Stand Your Ground

2 Samuel 23:12 (NKJV) But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory

Any good soldier knows that unless he is skilled and knows how to use his weapon, that weapon is useless against a skilled enemy. If you're going to stand your ground against the enemy, the devil, when he comes looking to kill, steal and destroy you, you had better know how to use your sword - the Word of God. That's why it's important to know what the word of God says. That's why it's imperative that you know the will of God, the promises of God and what He says belongs to you through Jesus Christ. When you're skilled in the things of the spirit, you can stand your ground and defend it when the enemy comes with his attacks. You can speak out the word of God, run the enemy off and see the Word bring about a great victory in your life!
