Romans 12:3 (KJV) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Religion will tell you that you are just an old sinner saved by grace. It says that you should consider yourself a weak worm of the dust, or an old grasshopper, because anything above that level would be thinking too highly of yourself. However, God is not saying that you shouldn't think highly of yourself. He is saying that you shouldn't think more highly of yourself and become conceited, vain or self-righteous. But because of what Jesus did for you, you should think highly of yourself because of your identity in Him! Through Jesus Christ your thoughts about yourself should be: "I am well able" "Give me a mountain to climb" "I am more than a conqueror" "I am an overcomer" "I can do all things through Christ" "I am anointed" "I am blessed to be a blessing" "I am chosen of God" If you think highly of what Jesus did for you, then move up higher to your position in Him and see yourself from a higher perspective!
May God Bless you EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, ABOVE ALL YOU CAN ASK OR THINK!
