Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things

Another year has come and gone, the past is the past. God is a God of creation and He is always doing a new thing. He is a God of new beginnings; a God who makes a way where there seems to be no way; a God who makes rivers in the desert and roadways in the wilderness. Now is the time to forget, but learn from, the failures of the past and praise God for the victories of 2009. Many people see the coming of the new year as a time to make new commitments and resolutions. Now is the time for you to refresh yourself on the dreams and visions God has given for you to accomplish. It may be the time to get started on the tasks that you never got around to. But now more than ever, it is time to press in, persevere and continue in the calling, purpose and destiny that God has for you. Now more than ever, keep pushing forward - don't give up. Don't let the failures of yesterday keep you from the promised land of today. Run your race and keep your eyes on the prize!
